Episode 139: The Suffering of the Streets with John Sullivan
John Sullivan was born January 1, 1960 and was raised on the tough streets of Yorkville on the East Side of NYC. His father was killed when he was 2 years old his Mother left his sister and John to be raised by his Grandmother. Raising a young child was tough in that neighborhood and John’s Grandmother did her best until the streets got the best of him.
John found himself getting into trouble frequently and eventually ended up in some of the toughest prisons on the east coast. His reputation in the neighborhood followed John for many years in the 70’s and 80’s until he was able to turn his life around and find strength in helping others stay clean and out of trouble.
